Earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Kent State University (graduated 2019)
Earned the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in 2015
Holds a teaching license (Pk-3) in the state of Ohio
Has spent over 3000 hours working with children, including tutoring and 9 different internships in schools/daycares
Build A Door Tutoring gets its name from the saying, "if opportunity doesn't knock, build a door". In my experience, not all children have the right opportunities in school for their individual selves. My goal is to help guide and create that door for individual success. Your child will succeed not only in reaching learning goals, but in learning how to learn. Each child is unique. My job is to bring that out. Have them recognize their ability. Then empower it, learn from it, and let them create.

WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR TEACHING SESSIONS?
I am very flexible with meeting places. I can meet at a local library or even your home. Whatever is easier for you, I can accommodate too.
HOW INVOLVED ARE PARENTS WITH EACH SERVICE?
I am a big believer in parent involvement. I communicate regularly and always let the parents know what is going on. Either with how the child is doing or what the next steps are that I will take.
HOW DID YOU DETERMINE YOUR PRICING?
My prices are based on my ability to work with children. I have a lot of experience, as well as education to support it. Yet, at the same time I want to make my services affordable and fair to you.
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Currently, I am only accepting cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or payments through Facebook messenger.
WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU TUTOR?
Well, my license is specialized pk-3. The main subjects I can tutor your child in is reading, writing, math. If there is something else you are interested in your child being tutored for, please feel free to let me know!
